- Of nearly 10,000 home in Sun Lakes' 5 Country Clubs, 295 homes were listed for sale in MLS on 3.1.2011, a rate less than 2.95%. These homes were priced from $68,000 to $649,900 and were built from the 1970s to 2006.
“Downward Spiraling Prices”. Some “market segments” are much worse than others. Prices in Sun Lakes have declined over the last 3 years, most listing prices are “at market”, and offers are fully considered. The Sun Lakes market could soften slightly in the next 12 months, but how important is that if you are “transitioning” and want to change lifestyle now?

Sun Lakes is: 1) 22 miles from Phoenix Intn'l Airport and the attractions of downtown Phoenix, and 2) 6 miles from a major regional shopping center and upmarket restaurants. Competing Adult Communities. Can you identify any adult community with better amenities, more desirable location, or size/stability than Sun Lakes? There are nearly 10,000 homes in Sun Lakes; 3,300 of which are in Oakwood, which was just "built-out" in 2006.
